The Return of the Traveler continues the story first started in the Legend of the White Wizard. Our hero has returned, but things have changed. While trying to resolve one personal conflict, he finds himself thrust into another—a deeper, more painful one. The young people of Astra have moved on with their lives since their adventure. The opening introduces Cass, a young girl who is unknowingly linked to the adventures of the Runic Questors. But she will be the key to resolving a conflict that impacts her personally and our friends. There is also strife in the kingdoms. Things are not well in the realms of Theglen and Yugrao. Before the conflicts in Astra can be resolved, our friends need to explore more of their world, about strange cultures and peoples, and learn more about magic.

The brothers Tareth and Deek, with their friends Halesh and Pouldra, return to start new adventures, together and on their own. This book resolves open questions about the fate of the traveler, the origin of magic, the legacy of Bindle, and maybe, finally, the identity of the white wizard. The reader gets to explore previously unknown lands of Astra.
